Ask the Expert
Q: How do I prepare my skin for a warm climate vacation?
Cold weather deprives skin of moisture as does the environment we live and work in. A good moisturizer (water based) soaks into skin, replacing vital agents needed for healthy, easy to tan skin. A reputable and certified salon will ensure best results (normally taking up to 3 weeks) depending on your skin type. The technician will evaluate your needs, suggest indoor lotions and tailor sessions accordingly.
Remember to always wear a sunscreen outdoors (no less than SPF4 up to an SPF20 will still produce results but will minimize 100% of the B-rays so harmful and damaging to skin). Make your trip enjoyable and worthwhile. DO NOT BURN!
